ENDOMOBIL / SOCIAL RESPONSE AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Our service is all about helping.

We know that life is not always easy for everyone. Our origins, social surroundings and level of education determine our success, or lack of it, and stand in the way of well-being and equal opportunities. But happy, self-assured children are the force that drives each country. Encouraging them, giving them prospects and ensuring their healthy development is more important than ever in the face of constantly increasing child poverty.

We are all responsible for our fellow human beings and for our unique planet. All support helps, gives courage and optimism, and needs our commitment. Here at ENDOMOBIL, we want to take action! We want to pass on our success, and be active beyond national borders – both as an official partner of the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk (German children’s charity), and through other projects with financial donations both as a company and privately.

Said and done!

In 2014, an article by Beate Strobel in the German magazine FOCUS drew attention to the fate of Martyna, a young girl from Poland who was born without legs and who had a single dream: "I want to have legs like my mummy." Financially, and in view of the treatment options open to them in their home country, the family was unable to provide their daughter with the required long-term help.

Her fate touched us deeply - and we wanted to help!

With firm commitment, we started a fund-raising collection among business partners, colleagues and friends. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of TV presenter Jörg Wontorra, we succeeded in raising a donation of EUR 10,000 via the foundation of Hans Kary (Ruhrzeitung). At the end of this fund-raising campaign another article has now been published in FOCUS, all about the fortunate circumstances of this young lady. We were able to give the courageous young patient and her family a cheque which covered both her first artificial legs as well as their replacement over the next few years in an orthopaedic clinic in Bavaria.

A dream has come true! Martyna will now be able to walk into the future alongside her mother. An enchanting smile and tears of happiness are no doubt the nicest way to say thank you.
